Join Playform’s 30-Day Art Challenge, Powered by Honā
Every year, individuals use January 1st as a stepping stone toward a prosperous future. People usually create goals and resolutions every year to better their health, better their lives, and increase productivity.
However, without the creation and implementation of daily habits, many of these New Years Resolutions fall flat.
As we find time and time again, creating healthy habits that align with our resolutions will allow us to achieve them. A way to build up these habits is to do something daily. As an artist, creating daily art pieces allows for you to stretch your artistic muscle and create content. Communities of people have attempted to mold these habits through Everyday Art Challenges. Artists usually participate in these social media challenges to utilize their creativity and expand their imagination.
A prime example of a consistent artist includes Mike Winkelmann, aka Beeple.
Beeple has become a household name amongst the NFT community. He rose to fame through Daily Art Challenges which he participated in for 5,358 consecutive days. Beeple used social media as a way to stay dedicated to the quality of his work and the consistency of his uploads.

By utilizing social media, Beeple was able to stay accountable to his mission of creating and publishing art. Through his dedication he has amassed an incredible amount of artwork and has now become a widely recognized name in modern artistry.
George Siosi Samuels saw the need for accountability within goal making and created Honā, a social accountability tool for Web3.
Within Honā, a user is able to create a concrete timeline in order to carry out daily tasks. Using the platform, a user is able to keep track of their progress, involve the community, and utilize the power of positive affirmations. We invited George to join us for the previous episode of Playform Radio, where we first learned about Honā and wanted to introduce it to our community of artists.
